Looks very adorable! The only criticism I have is the shading... The tail - Like in the original piece, there is still a small shadow on the left (our view) side of the tail indicating the body/head casting a shadow over it. It seems to be missing it. The Brick - The brick has flat surfaces and having a shadowed and non-shadowed on the same surface is a bit awkward (unless there is an object casting a shadow). I recommend just having the right side shadowed while the others in the light. The Mane - More specifically, the bottom right (our view) corner of the mane by the forehead. The shadow seems to go to the left, but all the other shadows go slightly to the right. Moving that part of the shadow a bit to the right side would make it look much better and consistent. (Maybe adding another shadow of the other Mane corner by the forehead).
Hum, I dunno. This was one of my very first requests, back when I started vectoring stuff. I usually don't like vectoring finished work like this one, 'cause I don't really see the point. I just wanted to retrace this one because my first attempt was really bad. But maybe someday if I don't know what to vector I'll do some more. :<
Oh so you actually want me to do them lol. I thought you were just curious.
I'm currenctly thinking about opening point comishes so I could buy another three months of premium membership... But hum, I've just checked the pictures, and JJ only drew Fluttershy from the mane six. :< I could try to vector the other then recolor them into the mane six, but it won't look as good.
haha yeah. He tells me he is working on more again so we should keep our eyes peeled. Btw, are you still intrested in doing the Night's Favoured Child comic/vector? I still have a few intrested people.
Still interested, yeah, but not with the same hum status ? I mean I can give a hand every now and then, but I certainly won't have the time to be one of the main vector artists of the project now that college is back. So if you need a fresh look on your work, or some random ponies from time to time, no problem, but I can hardly offer more than that.
